unity & integration

years of facilitating dei&b + unity & integration workshops for casting agencies, ad agencies, k-12 school districts, colleges & universities, national sports organization, & some of the biggest brands in the world.

everyone should play.

in 2021, i founded my passion project, queer youth in action. throughout my time teaching & in non-profit spaces, i saw so many talented queer & trans youth drop out of sport + movement spaces because they weren’t safe or supportive. although it seemed both crazy & ambitious, i decided that my particular experience as an avid (and ex-elite) athlete, coupled with my years of instruction & facilitation, could be powerful enough to shift the needle.

three years & consulting contracts with us youth soccer, women in soccer, america scores, athlete ally, re—inc, & more later, the tides continue to shift — in our favor. the work continues, now more than ever.

the world needs our stories.

among many hats at FREE THE WORK, i was able to wear one of my favorites: dei&b facilitator. we packed rooms (in-person & zoom) with the world’s best creatives, for the world’s best agencies & brands. our goal at FTW, & especially through our dei&b work, was to open up conversations around why folks were not feeling seen & heard in production. & along the way, with every interactive component, we had a ton of fun.

the results were insightful, & the solutions arrived at were immediate & powerful. an abundant landscape of creators encouraged to make their voices heard leads to an abundance of creation — & our stories are just beginning.
